When I reach that number.
When the business gets to that point.
When I have bought this.
When this project is finished.
Then I will travel more.
Then I will spend more time with my family.
Then I will enjoy it.
I know this way of thinking well.
But the problem with it becomes obvious when you stop for a moment.
If it takes ten years to get there, what happened to those ten years?
I have been thinking more about whether dreams should have smaller versions in the present.
If the dream is about freedom, what does version 1.0 of freedom look like today?
If it is about family, what can I do now?
If it is about giving, do I really have to wait until I have hundreds of millions of krónur?
Perhaps a vision of the future is not just a place you are trying to reach.
Perhaps it should also tell you how to live along the way.
